INTERNATIONAL BALTIC JEWELLERY SHOW ‘AMBER TRIP’
March 4–7th, 2010. Vilnius Lithuania
In the name of the International Baltic Jewellery show ‘Amber Trip’ we would like kindly invite you to participate in the jewellery art contest "Theatre of the World " (the description of the theme you will find in the bottom of this email ) that will be accompanying in the “Amber Trip” taking place in Vilnius on 4 - 7 March, 2010.
AIM AND REQUIREMENTS
1. The aim of the competition is to present and promote the most interesting achievements of the contemporary art of jewellery and to encourage artists to use jewellery as a mode of expression.
2. There are no limitations concerning materials and techniques used.
3. Our goal is to present the best of what Baltic Jewellery art can offer.
It will held on 4 - 7 of March, 2010. On the 6 March, 2010 at 8 p. m. in the evening - announcement of the competition results/awards ceremony.
Jewellery art contest "Theatre of the World” –The entries should be the participant’s own works as understood under copyright law, and submitted under the participant’s name
The participant is obliged to:
- bring their work title
- provide high-quality photos of works to be published in the journal “Baltic Jewellery news”. Jewels artists must submit their tender of works sent Photo CD media or e-mail office@ambertrip.com; technical requirements: 300 dpi resoliution, TIFF or PDF formats, 210x297mm.
- complete and sign the registration form - contract that should work photo or drawing;
- deliver the work together with registration form - contract till 25 February 2010 to the Organizers;
- all participant should present 1 art-work (or ;
- send the submitted work in an appropriate and secure packaging that will protect the contents from damage and could be re-used for returning them to the participant
Write a good description that explains the meaning of your model
Will be presented 3 prizes:
I prize – free 6 m 2 stand, value - 3000 LT in the international Baltic jewellery show “Amber Trip” 2011, the article about the author and advertising in the magazine Baltic Jewelery News.
II prize – free show-cases (236x95x46 cm), value – 700 LT in the international Baltic jewellery show “Amber Trip” 2011, the article about the author in the magazine Baltic Jewelery News.
III prize – free place in the international Baltic jewellery show “Amber Trip” 2011, an interview with the author in the magazine Baltic Jewelery News.
The prizewinners will also receive diplomas and a yearly subscription of the magazine “Baltic Jewellery News”. Also, all works will be published in the August issue of this magazine.
THE JURY
Maryte Dominaite - Gureviciene (Lietuva) – the chairperson of the Jury.
The other Jury members are: Giedymin Jablonski (Poland); Eeva Wornell (Finland); Angels Juodzeviciene (Lithuania) – the curator of the Competition.
The Jury of the Jewellery art contest "Theatre of the World” will select the best entries. The session of the Jury will take place on 4, 5, 6 March 2010.
The jury shall consider as main criteria the artistic and aesthetic values and originality of the concept of the piece as well as the mastery of workmanship. The work may be given a title and provided if the author considers it necessary with a short commentary.

PUBLICATIONS
1. The competition results will be published in the magazine ‘Baltic Jewellery News ‘ in May issue 2010.
2. The Organizers reserves the right to publish works entered for the competition.

We are proud to present you the gifted and original jewellery artists of the Baltic region and the other countries in our Jewellery Show. At the moment over 200 different Jewellery artists from Lithuania, Russia, Latvia, Poland, Estonia, Germany, Finland, Norway and Sweden are invited to participate in this Open Contest. We are also always open for cooperation with new talented artist from the region.
FINAL ARRANGEMENTS
1. The Organizer takes liability for the submitted works from the moment of receiving them until they are returned to the artist in person or sent by mail or shipping company.
3. In case of any damage to the object while in the Organizer’s care, the Organizer will cover the cost of its restoration.
4. The works will be returned by mail at the participant’s expense till September 2010.

Security, feelings of power, beauty is fragile and temporary, as the role of the theater. Play the same and are you going to the next. Today’s life - a costume drama, whose primary focus is the personality which highlight the individuality of jewelry, accessories.
The task of the participant of this competition is to prepare/present a piece or set of jewellery reflects their role in the rising and falling illusions Theater.
Participants must necessarily create to specify their role (name).
