Silver Chains – A Family Business
Report by Angele Juodzeviciene
The history of the Biamet Bis company began in 1974. In the beginning it was a government factory producing silver chains, jewellery and silverware. After changes in the political system in Poland, Mr.Eugeniusz Malicki bought the company Biamet LTD in 1991 and started the production of new designs of jewellery chains and utensils. Biamet Bis was created in 2001 as a separate company from Biamet LTD. The main reason for separating the two was to create a company specializing in the production of chains and mass jewellery.
